The opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our busy Legal and Partnerships Office. The Legal and Partnership Administrative Officer will assist the Corporate Counsel and Partnerships Managers by managing the contracts database, liaising with internal and external parties, coordinating meetings and more.  

To be successful for this position you will be a quick thinker with a high degree of focus, attention to detail and accuracy in the work you deliver. You will have a friendly manner which is flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude. You will also demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

  • Considerable administration and clerical experience gained in an office environment
  • Experience in coordinating the adminisrtsative aspects of contract management highly desirable
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  •  Highly proficient in a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office and a database program
  • Strong organisation skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Capacity to work with a high degree of independence and and demonstrate initiative
  • Strong commitment to quality and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to set up meetings and co-ordinate various stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • A minimum of three (3) years experience in a professional services industry or similar
  • Experience in a medical or biological research based environment would be advantageous

 This  is  a  full time  permanent role .
